The Town of Leon is accepting bids for Road Materials. The following material shall conform to the most current WI Dept. of Transportation Standard Specifications for Road Materials.

Price per ton of the following: 3/4″ gravel rock, 1 1/4″ gravel rock, 3″ breaker run, shot rock, medium rip rap, hot mix, asphalt cold mix

Price per lineal foot of the following: crack sealing

Price per mile and/or square yard of the following: seal coating, pavement pulverizing

IMPORTANT: no fuel surcharges should be included in the submitted bids. We prefer projects to be completed by September 1, 2026, but acknowledge extreme weather may cause scheduling changes.

Sealed bids and quotes must be received at the Leon Town Hall, 8108 Jackrabbit Ave., Sparta, WI 54656 by 5:00 pm on Monday, April 6, 2026. Electronic bid submission is preferred, but bids can be mailed to the Town of Leon or placed in the secure dropbox on the Leon Town Hall building. Bids will be presented to the board and discussed publicly during the Monthly Town Board Meeting on Wednesday, April 8, 2026, which will start at 6:00 pm at the Leon Town Hall.

The Leon Town Board reserves the right to reject any and all bids or to accept that bid deemed most advantageous to the Town.
