Public Test of Voting Machines & 2025 Spring Election:   PUBLIC NOTICE of SPRING ELECTION TOWN OF LEON     Notice is hereby given that a Spring Election will be held on Tuesday, April 1st, 2025 in the Leon Town Hall, 8108 Jackrabbit Ave., Sparta from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00p.m.  The polling place is accessible to elderly and disabled voters.  Ballots are for State Superintendent of Public Instruction, Judicial, Municipal Town Board, Sparta/Cashton/Bangor School Boards and a State Referendum.  At the close of voting on Election Day, pursuant to the provisions of Wis. Stat. 19.84, the Election Inspectors will convene as the Local Canvassing Board for the purpose of conducting the local canvass pursuant to Wis. Stat. 7.51. This meeting will be open to the public pursuant to Wis. Request for Bids for Tractor and Mower

PUBLIC NOTICE FOR BID REQUEST

 

 

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Town of Leon requests bids for a Tractor and Boom Mower.  For specifications, please contact Chairman Greg Selbrede at (608) 487-2411 or Town Patrolman Bruce Peterson at (608)487-0324. 

 

Sealed bids and quotes must be received at the Leon Town Hall, 8108 Jackrabbit Ave., Sparta, WI 54656 by 5:00 p.m. on Monday April 21, 2025. Electronic bid submission is preferred, but bids can be mailed to Town of Leon, 8108 Jackrabbit Ave, Sparta, WI 54656, or can be placed in the secure drop box on the Town Shop building.  Bids will be presented to the board and discussed publicly during the Annual Meeting on Wednesday April 23, 2025 which will start at 6:00 p.m. at the Leon Town Hall.

 

The Leon Town Board reserves the right to reject any and all bids or to accept that bid deemed most advantageous to the Town.
