Invitation to Bid LRIP Project: The Town of Leon is requesting bids for a Local Road Improvement Project funded by WIDOT. The following material shall conform to the most current WIDOT Standard Specification for Road Materials. PRICE PER MILE AND/OR SQUARE YARD: Seal Coating of Kale Road (at route: Kaiser Road, toward route: CTH J termini) approximately 3,273 feet IMPORTANT: No fuel surcharges should in included in the submitted bids. We prefer projects completed by September 1, 2026, but acknowledge extreme weather events may cause scheduling changes. For specifications, please contact Patrolman Bruce Peterson at (608) 487-0324. Sealed bids and quotes must be received at the Leon Town Hall, 8108 Jackrabbit Ave., Sparta, WI 54656 by 5:00 pm on Monday, April 6, 2026. Electronic bid submission is preferred, but bids can be mailed to the Town of Leon or placed in the secure dropbox on the Town Hall building. Bids will be presented to the Board and discussed publicly during the Monthly Town Board Meeting on Wednesday, April 8, 2026, which will start at 6:00 pm at the Leon Town Hall.
